So Matt was able to do his yearly Alaska tour with his band over the last couple of weeks, and had a lot of fun. (I am trying to get Matt to post on here himself, but it's nearly impossible). Since I can't speak for him, here's some pictures of him white water rafting in Denali. Notice Chad on the left, and his new drummer, RB, on the top right. And even though I don't know the guy in the very front, he is hilarious in every picture!
Since I didn't get to go with Matt this time, I decided to have a mini-vacation, and went down to St. George with my friend, Seavenly. Her sister-in-law was in 2 plays at the Tuacahn. She played Maria in The Sound of Music, and Eponine, in Les Miserables. She was amazing, and both plays were incredible!! If you've never been to the Tuacahn, it's outdoors, and the back drop is against a giant red cliff! It made for an awesome battle scene in Les Miz.
So we both had fun on our trips, but we're glad to be home, and together again. We have lots of work to do, (sell the house, find jobs in Merced, and move) but we're trying to still take time to enjoy the Utah summer that we both love.

So sad that you are going to be leaving, but I am glad that you had fun on your trips. You are right the guy on the front of the raft was funny.
