Matt's first National Anthem

Matt got the chance to sing his first National Anthem at a professional sporting event. It was at a Real Salt Lake (soccer) game. The delay of the mic was crazy, but of course Matt pulled it off perfectly.

Mom and Dad happened to be in town, and got to come with us early to see him rehearse, and eat and hang out in the suites upstairs. (Can you tell Dad's happy with our suite?) Grandpa and Janette also got to see him perform, and then stayed for the game.

I got to go onto the field with Matt when he sang to videotape it. After he was done, the team came on, and I was a little star-struck, so I was snapping away and the lady in charge had to tell Matt to "get your wife off the field!" Oops.

Matt's thinking his next appearance should be at a Jazz game...who knows...??

That is so neat Matt! You look great in "red" by the way! It must have been very special that Andria's parents were able to see you perform as well. Wish we could have been there. I am sure it was totally awesome....

We finally have internet again. Indiana is hot and humid, I can't wait for it to cool down. Congrats Matt, that is awesome. It looks like there were a lot of people at the game. J/K
