April Fool's (on me)

So my April Fool's Day started off great. Matt and I were in Merced, so we got to do the 33-three year tradition of hitting my dad in the face with a banana cream pie! It was awesome, Matt did it for the first time, even though he was very reluctant. I guess people not in our immediate family think our tradition is weird and mean. I think it's completely normal and funny! My dad's a great sport. He's never gotten mad at us in all these years.

In the airport coming back to Utah, I didn't have a book and I was thinking of an April Fool's joke I could play on someone. I decided to text message my friend, Josh, and tell him that I was pregnant. ( No I am not).

After a little persuasion, he finally believed me, then I used the classic line "April Fools!" I, of course, thought it was over. Today I got about 10 text messages saying, "congratulations Andria!" from some friends and even numbers I didn't recognize.

I, of course, freaked out, and called Josh. He said that he told our friend, Brinton. Brinton left before he could tell him it was a joke, and obviously started telling people.

So I was doing damage control and telling people that I wasn't pregnant, and to not believe what they hear. I couldn't believe how fast the rumor had spread!

Well, come to find out, Josh told everyone to text message me and put congratulatons, but didn't tell them why.

He finally told me this a couple of hours later, along with the classic line, "April Fool's!"
