We are ready... Well as ready as we are going to be anyway. The doctors have given us a birthday for our little Girl.
Andria and I spent around five hours in the hospital today getting an ultra sound and waiting for labs. They hooked her up to a monitor and our little girl is a mover and a shaker. She is dancing in that belly. I guess you could say that she’s a belly dancer.
Andria has preeclampsia so the doctors determined that it would be in Andria’s best interest if they induced her 2 weeks early. She will be “inducted” into the Lewis family on Mach 3rd and will share a birthday with both Jessica Beal and Alexander Grahm Bell. We are very proud of this and hope that someday she will either invent the telephone or date Justin Timberlake.
Andria and i are spending most of our free time getting last minute things together. Andria is officially on maternity leave and is spending the majority of the time resting, watching chick flicks and buying things for the baby that we don’t need. I am playing homemaker. I have been doing most of the cooking and cleaning for the last three days. Dre’s mom is flying in tomorrow night so that should give us a break from grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup.
I am also working on finishing a song for my little girl. I don’t have a working title for it yet but the opening line is, “mama’s gonna teach you about jesus, daddies gonna teach you about rock’n’roll. that pretty much sums it up.
Needless to say we are getting very excited. The nurse told us that they will most likely have us come in early tuesday morning so by this time next week we will be the proud owners of a shiny new baby and Jessica Beal will be 27.

Hi guys:
How exciting....we will anxiously await a phone call from you next week Matt with the details...! We know that everything will go just perfectly. I'm so proud of you Matt for taking such good care of Andria.....you definitely do know how to make a "mean toast...!" I do know that much....
I love the pictures of the crib and the beautiful quilt. She will be one lucky "baby girl" with a couple of "awesome parents!"
We love you guys and can't wait to meet that little "pink" bundle of joy!
Keep us posted...!
Love,
Kathy & Woody
