An update on the house...

Okay, so we have been trying to buy this house since....JANUARY!! It's been an absolute nightmare! It's a short sale, so it has to be approved and go through the seller, and the bank. And the banks are NOT on a time schedule and don't care about that! Well, a week, after Amelia was born (March), they finally accepted our offer.

On to nightmare #2...the loan process! Long story short...we have been through 2 loan officers, been told about a gazillion different interest rates and monthly payment prices, I paid off a $1200 hospital bill to help our credit, even though it was in dispute and we shouldn't have to pay it, only for it to end up HURTING our credit! And we've been told for 3 weeks straight now that we were going to close on the house TOMORROW! And then the next day, something always happens, and it will be TOMORROW again! I swear, that really was the short version of the story!

So now, they guaranteed me and put it in writing that we will actually close tomorrow....my first day back at work! How this will work out? I have no idea. I am pretty much dreading going back to work. I'm not sure how I'll do. When I was pregnant, I didn't think it was that big of a deal, but now that she's here, I can't imagine leaving her! Luckily I only work about 5 hrs/day, but that's still longer than I want to leave her! I do enjoy my work, and I like the people, but I'm still dreading it.

So...enough of my ranting, here's cutie patootie pictures of Mills:

Amelia's discovered sucking on her hands...usually her left one. This is also the day she had her shots, hence the bandaids

Chillin in her swing, that we all love

She is just too cute! Sorry about the problems you have been having. It took a friend of mine months before she actually got the house she wanted to close. Those banks are on their own time, I swear!

Wow I have to say she looks like such a mini-Matt in that last picture. I miss little Millie, I haven't seen her in too long! Sorry about all the house woes, let me know if I can help at all whenever you finally do get to move in.

That stinks to hear about the house. Hopefully you guys can close soon. Bankers have got to be the laziest people on earth :)
