We got the house!

After many headaches and lots of work (see below)...we finally signed on the house! We signed on Friday, and since it's a 3 day weekend, the funding won't go through until Tuesday or Wednesday, so we will probably set our move date for Thursday! And since we complained so much, I got them to pay for movers for us! Yippee! (Note: I have a very good skill of getting companies to do things like this for me, i.e: getting cell phone companies to lower my bills)

Here's some before pictures, hopefully we'll be able to get some good after pictures once we move in and decorate!

Also, I started back at work this week, on Wednesday. It was so hard to leave Amelia. It ended up being a bad day in general. I was taking her to my friend, Afton's to watch, and I got pulled over and got a speeding ticket on the way there. He didn't care about my story, and gave me a ticket anyways-dangit!

When I got to work, I had a meeting with my boss, and she informed me that I would be starting my new position immediately. I knew there was a possibility of this happening, because I knew they were cutting one of the coordinators position, I just didn't know which one of us they would cut. It ended up being me because the other guy had seniority with the company. (Even though I had seniority in the position, and trained him!) I am hoping it will be a good change, but I have a feeling it will be chaotic like my job in Salt Lake, where I had a pager, and was constantly on-call.

This job will be working with high functioning people who have disabilities and live on their own. I will be working with them, and supervising staff who will help them with things like: paying their bills, going grocery shopping, helping them at work, etc...

I have no idea the schedule, though, and I'm worried it will be really hard to get a good schedule for Amelia. This last week was crazy, and I felt so bad for her because we were constantly carting her around and feeding her at crazy times and in crazy places.

Matt is in Sun Valley, Idaho right now for a show. He went with his whole band, and also his brother and our friend, "Johnny Boston" who came up from Arizona to spend the weekend with Matt and the band. Matt has informed me that this is the nicest hotel/resort he has ever stayed at. I guess it was complete with a nice pool, indoor/outdoor skating rinks, saunas, day spa, golf course, and more. Why did I not go with them! Ahh, I'm kicking myself. Oh well, I think they're going to want them back, so I'm for sure going next time.
