The 4th!

Amelia's first 4th of July was a blast! We had a VERY jam packed day. We went to the parade first thing in the morning with my parents, and Matt's family. Although she hated the sirens, she was very good the rest of the time, and got tons of attention from her aunties and uncles!

Here is Mike with her (he would walk up and down the street using Amelia to pick up on girls..it didn't quite work, haha)

Then I played in the Freedom Festival 3v3 soccer tournament. We got to the finals, but ended up losing the final game. So we ended up getting 2nd place, not bad for a bunch of Moms! 3 out of 4 of us on the team have kids, and the other teams were shocked when they found that out! It was a lot of fun to start playing again, I've really missed the game.

We then had a BBQ at the pool with my parents, Matt's family, and my friend, Jen. Matt and the band had a show in Logan, and Matt swore he would never book a show on the 4th again. I don't blame him-he missed out! It was fun swimming and eating hamburgers, and was perfect for the 4th of July!

THEN......ARE YOU READY???

WE GOT TO SEE...............

THE JONAS BROTHERS!!!

(These are photos from my phone, I forgot my camera..what was I thinking?)

My grandparents decided not to go to "The Stadium of Fire" in Provo, so they gave me and my parents their tickets. I was worried about taking the baby, but then I thought, "What the heck?" We gave her some earplugs for the show, and she did great! SheDaisy also performed, and I actually really like their songs, so that was fun. I didn't know one song from the Jonas Brothers, but the entertaining part was seeing the girls go CRAZY for them! The fireworks were nothing compared to the screaming of all the pre-teen girls! It was hilarious!

So it was a long and eventful day, but so much fun! I love the 4th of July!!

What a fun day! I loved going swimming on the 4th. It was perfect weather for that. Your little girl is so cute and I know I say that every time, but she is. Can't help it!

That first picture is just so darling. I wish I could be closer to see her grown up, but this is the next best thing, I guess. Thank goodness for camera and the internet!
